FREE ENTRY PASS

  • Select this option for reserving your party’s free pass(es) to the Zoo.
  • Passes are required for every person who enters the Zoo, including infants.   
  • Parties of 16 or more will need to select the ‘Group Entry’ option. 

Reserve Entry Pass 

PARKING + ENTRY PASS

  • Select this option if you want to purchase a parking pass.  
  • Parking passes cost $30. No re-entry permitted. 
  • After selecting your Parking pass, you’ll be prompted to reserve free entry pass(es) for you and your group. 

Reserve Parking Pass 

GROUP + ENTRY PASS

  • Select this option if you’re traveling to the Zoo in a party of 16 or more.
  • Choose this option if you plan to enter the Zoo by bus or on foot. 
  • After selecting your Group Entry pass, you’ll be prompted to reserve your transportation option (bus or walk-in) and/or entry passes for each member of your group.

Security and Bag Check Notice: When you visit any of the Smithsonian's museums and Zoo, you will discover that we have security measures to ensure your safety and the safety of the animals and objects. During peak visitation days at the Zoo, you may be greeted upon entry by one of the security personnel who will conduct a thorough but speedy hand-check of all bags, strollers, briefcases, purses and containers. You may also be hand-screened with an electronic wand. Because of the security measures, the lines for entry to the Zoo may be longer than usual during peak seasons and holidays. We ask for your patience, cooperation and assistance in keeping everyone safe.
